Employment Details · Job Description: A dedicated and collaborative speech therapist to join our close-knit and supportive team.
· Location & Hours: Private practice in Jacksonville, FL with the opportunity to work with local private schools. Currently seeking after-school hours 2-4 afternoons per week; scheduling is flexible based on therapist availability. · Compensation & Benefits: Competitive hourly rates CEU reimbursement Materials stipend Paid liability insurance Mileage reimbursement
SLP Requirements Qualifications/Experience: · Current Florida Speech Therapy certification · Current ASHA licensure (Clinical Fellows welcome to apply) · 3-5 years of experience providing therapy to the pediatric population (preferred)
Skills: · Strong communication skills with parents and school staff · Self-starter and ability to work confidently with minimal supervision · Detail-oriented: regular data collection and progress monitoring · Excellent written skills for report and note writing
Responsibilities: · Provide direct therapy services in clinic and school settings · Complete evaluations and progress reports · Collaborate with families to develop personalized treatment plans and goals · Communicate with families via email during the scheduling, evaluation, and therapy process · Daily documentation using our electronic medical record system · Send regular homework and updates to families
